Meeting Assistant has taken a new, big step in its life and we are eager to tell the world about it. Besides having our old team working in our headquarters in Helsinki, we now have a new squad, new location, and new office working solely on Meeting Assistant with only one goal – to bring you an amazing new experience of using our product.
The new team hails from Kouvola, a bit over 100 km north from Helsinki.
Location aside, the main topic of this post is employees. We have assembled a team of young international professionals who thrive to work hard and make Meeting Assistant look better from every angle. Kouvola office is divided into three teams: technical team, that is probably creating new cool features for the app as you read this post; customer success team helping you to get most out of Meeting Assistant and Ville aka One-Man-Army who is an integral part of both divisions.
Meet the developers
I do different kinds of technical stuff. Coding and fixing bugs are my bae. As my previous experience, I would mention my own projects, such as automated integrated timetables. When I have a minute, I usually devote it to playing competitive games and spending time with my friends.
Fun fact: What? Fun fact? No no, i don’t have any! I guess I’m too boring, eh…
I add new features to the application and also test MA for bugs and fix them when they show up. In the past, I had created a couple of games. In my free time, I mostly play games. I enjoy both consoles and PC. My favorite genres are strategy, Action, MMORPG, Adventures, FPS and simulation games.
Fun fact: Unlike some people, who merely have running refrigerators, I used to have an exploding one and was featured in the news because of it!
Nikita‘s note: Eetu has a T-shirt and a mousepad with World of Warcraft on it so you might guess what his favorite game is!
Meet the Customer Success Team
I am currently a Junior Account Manager here at Meeting Assistant. My main tasks are related to customer work, PR & marketing, such as email correspondence, blogs and social media. I used to work for a customer care department, therefore, I have some experience in the field in which I am working right now. During my free time, I enjoy reading books with a cup of tea or watching movies.
Fun fact: I am the youngest one in the office.
Nikita‘s note: Gabby clearly has misunderstood the word “fun”.
Howdy? I am a Junior Account Manager and I talk with our customers via email or phone, work with potential leads and search for new ones; blogs and social media are also my responsibilities as well as Gabby’s. I have experience in working for one of the best game dev companies in the world as a Community Coordinator and have been a journalist for a quarter of my life. I am sure that the skills I got there can be applied to my job at Meeting Assistant as well. My hobbies are poker, both online and offline, movies, tv shows, music, football, basketball and computer games.
Fun fact: I’ve been in deep love with a German metal band Rammstein for 12 years and have attended 6 of their concerts. Only two of them were in my hometown and only four in my home country! Also, I am 0,5 cm short for two meters.
Meet the Boss
I’m leading the Meeting Assistant team here at our new Kouvola office, both Dev and Customer Success Team. I’ve been working in sales and marketing for over 10 years and have always been a technical enthusiast. I prefer spending my time with my family, doing BBQ, playing basketball and computer games.
Fun fact: I’m the one who’s doing the gardening in my home
